SHAHEED YAR MOHD BALOCH
He belonged to Makrani
Baloch family of Hala, District Hyderabad Sindh. He did early
education from Government High School Hala and later he went to Sindh
University Hyderabad and passed his Master degree from University of
Sindh.
He was very active member of the student wing of PPP , Sindh Pople's Student Federation during his college and university time. As member of SPSF He believed on Bhuttoism and struggled against General Zia's dictatorship for the restoration of democracy in the country under the leadership of Mir Murtaza and Shahnawaz Bhutto. He joined SPSF working committee with many other students of Sindh who believed on the leadership of Mir Murtaza Bhutto and later on 15th of March 1995 when Mir Murtaza Bhutto became the chairman of the PPP(SB). He was nominated member of Sindh Council of the party. He was Chief Security Inchage of Mir Murtaza Bhutto after Mir's return from exile till the last day 20th September 1996 and He was killed by the police with Mir Murtaza Bhutto on 20th September 1996.
Once Mir Murtaza Bhutto visited his house in Hala and joked with his old mother asking her to give him Yar Mohd hand. She replied , " He comes in your Patti (Share)" During the September 20th shootout , Yar Mohd and Sajjad Haider Ghakhro are said to rush on the pajero of Mir Murtaza Bhutto's side to shield their leader from bullets. Yar Mohd's Mother said after Yar Mohd's death "All my sons would lay down their lives for Mir Murtaza Bhutto".
